Workplace Solution Architect (x2)

Job Introduction

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solution Architect educated at Graduate level or with relevant experience to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding Consultancy Practice within Computacenter. The successful candidate will be focused on driving forward our market leading position around Digital Workplace transformation, providing internal and external strategy and thought leadership whilst supporting our account teams with Pre-Sales campaigns and customer opportunities.

You will be instrumental in assisting customers understanding, and getting the most out of IT investments by working with them to develop their technology, people and processes for the benefit of their business, customers and employees. Key to your success will be your broad range of long standing and evidenced skills and experiences in designing end to end solutions, building teams and working closely with subject matter experts across all aspects of services and technology disciplines, and delivering technology solutions aligned to our portfolio and contracted services capabilities.

Role Responsibility

  • Attend customer opportunities to gain an understanding of their business and technical requirements in order to articulate strategies, roadmaps and solutions that align to those requirements and Computacenter’s portfolio
  • Develop close working relationships with key stakeholders in our client’s organisation, becoming a trusted advisor to our customers
  • Lead and support the pre-sales and assurance of proposed solutions and services, including responses to large scale and complex customer opportunities, including ITTs, RFPs and RFIs
  • Provide technical governance and assurance for proposed solutions and programmes in delivery
  • Continually build and maintain effective relationships with internal customers (sales teams, Contractual Services, etc.) and senior stakeholders demonstrating capability, thought leadership and relevance  
  • Work with the Services, Marketing, and Solutions teams to produce though leadership and product information for our go to market propositions, including enablement and education for internal sales teams and consultants
  • Engage within a broad virtual team across Computacenter to develop future service offerings and value propositions that are relevant, and integrated across our portfolio, to keep Computacenter ahead of the market
  • Maintain high levels of industry awareness through training, conferences and self-development and ensure this knowledge is shared effectively across the business
  • Hold a comprehensive understanding of the key vendor offerings, value proposition and the competition in order that Computacenter can build differentiating propositions to meet the needs of our customers

The Ideal Candidate
