The provisioning part of our business is responsible for the design, architecture, solution integration, provisioning, turn-up and documentation of new IT services.

Role Responsibility
We’re looking for a technical consultant who can live up to our reputation for delivering on promises – someone who has good understanding and experience in infrastructure provisioning, managing a significant portfolio of technology change, strong customer focus and stakeholder management skills whilst having demonstrable experience around Enterprise Data Centre technologies including compute, security, cloud technologies, virtualisation, and storage. Experience working with, and provisioning through, third party suppliers and outsourcers, proven analysis skills, critical and creative thinking, ability to troubleshoot Enterprise technologies. This is a busy and challenging environment so proven experience of working independently and effectively is required.
The role focuses on the design and delivery of new solutions, technologies and services. Translation of Project requirements into fully documented high level and low level designs, peer reviews, project delivery and provides Subject Matter Expert consultancy to the support function as required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to design and deliver innovative solutions, transforming customer requirements into technology solutions and managing the design through to delivery.

The main responsibilities of the Central Infrastructure Provisioning Team are
- Architect and deliver new technologies to support the Central Infrastructure landscape and services
- Provide input, support and leadership across the full project life cycle
- Ensure delivery of robust and reliable designs to support the build of infrastructure services and solutions
- Review new technologies to help define the strategic technology roadmap for Central Infrastructure
- Provide 4th line Consultative (SME) Services to the support function across all areas of expertise
