Technical Analyst - Print Solutions

Job Introduction

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Analyst. The successful individual will be responsible for providing technical support to internal sales teams and clients across the UK. Location for this role is flexible, preferably south of UK.

Role Responsibility

30% Pre-sales Technical 

  • Production of technically validated quotations, using vendor best practice and tools, within published SLA’s
  •  Providing technical support to Sales: product advice/customer visits to enable Computacenter to differentiate
  •  Accurately and competently complete configurations within a defined complexity level
  • Champion an environment of continual improvement and personal development
  • Delivery of excellent customer satisfaction to internal and external parties
  • Update the Intranet site to enable Sales Admin to ‘self-serve’ on lower end product/services

20% Vendor Knowledge and Training

  • To hold and maintain vendor accreditations within the appropriate vendors to support own development and company requirements
  • To pro-actively keep technical knowledge up to date
  •  Maintain strong internal/external relationships
  •  Delivery of training to Sales Admin on vendor as requested by management

60% Post Sales

  • Work with our Partner Management team to drive process changes and efficiencies
  • Work with large clients on updating their pre-defined bundles to ensure technical validity and to demonstrate ‘value add’
  • Document creation including but not limited to statement of works, high level and low level designs, Presales material such as presentations, RFP technical responses
  • Ability and experience implementing core solutions, including but not limited to Follow-Me and Mobile
  • Experience with multiple vendor platforms

Print audit experience, in conducting, planning and compiling results

  • Key Requirements
  • Extensive knowledge and Pre-Sales expertise across the print solutions
  • Experience of dealing with technical queries from non-Technical people
  • Experience of Asset DB
  • Focused on self development; technical and personal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work within a team, and to self-motivate
  • Experience of working in a service driven role, and to SLA’s
  • Ability to demonstrate a pro-active, positive approach
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness
  • Holds up to date technical/sales accreditations of relevant software solutions
  • Travel requirements, Europe.

  • Capable of confidently presenting to clients
