Sales Specialist – Networking & Security

Job Introduction

An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist to join our thriving Networking & Security Line of Business. Worth c£300 Million within the UK, Computacenter's offerings are developed around best of breed services and solutions with a Computacenter life time services rap. Our core solutions include the portfolio of Cisco, Juniper, HPE, Symantec, VMWare NSX and many others.

The successful applicant will be responsible as the Networking and/or Security Sales expert and required to engage, understand, qualify, propose and lead the successful closure of Networking and Security solutions and service opportunities.

Role Responsibility

To provide end-to-end ownership for an opportunity on behalf of the business line team

Support the qualification process with the customer account teams

Assisting the customer through a process of understanding their requirements, defining a solution, creating a compelling proposition and will be responsible for negotiating commercials and closing the deal

Responsible for managing the internal service providers and any external suppliers

Support, guide and coach the sales team to define, differentiate, develop, lead and close deals across all vertical sectors

Drive partnership & collaboration with key vendors

Develop strategy to maximise opportunities and grow market share

Work in collaboration with the Account Management team to create new opportunities across the full Computacenter customer base, ensuring resources are appropriately deployed

Proactively builds customer contacts and rapport across a number of customers, levels and opportunities

The Ideal Candidate

Extensive commercial experience and a demonstrable track record of overachieving targets in Network and/or Security Services sales

Demonstrable experience of selling IT solutions and services and a proven track record

Developing and closing multiple deals in the region of £500k – £20M Revenue, selling to Blue Chip clients in the mid market, Public Sector and Enterprise (c5000+ users).

Proven experience of working with multiple manufacturers and partners; and managing conflicting demands and expectations

Strong understanding of strategic and technology issues in the Networking market place

Credible specialist knowledge and can articulate this well whilst communicating effectively with the client up to C level

The ability to manage the entire deal lifecycle from inception to delivery start to commercial close

Demonstrable presentation, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
