Delivery and Programme Manager - Group technology Sourcing

Job Introduction

Key to the ongoing success of our Group Technology Sourcing (GTS) function is ensuring we evolve and enable change to keep pace with an ever-changing competitive landscape.

The GTS team bring together all of the skills, knowledge, experience and capability to deliver a "Technology Sourcing" service for our customers. We enable everything from a straightforward one-off transaction through to complex, multinational project engagements.

The Delivery and Programme Group Manager, is responsible for delivering business change to GTS processes & tooling via the successful and timely delivery of prioritised change programmes

You will take global responsibility of a small but incredibly important team, ensure that Computacenter are driving innovation and improvements to our service offerings.

Role Responsibility

  • Leadership and governance of all related GTS projects
  • Clarify and refine economic rationale to justify investments upfront and throughout
  • Manages the prioritisation of the delivery of change programmes, working with GTS Leadership to ensure the projects support and align with business strategy
  • Engage and communicate actively with key stakeholders, globally, including the business
  • Establish clear lines of accountability, governance and boundaries to support execution teams Establish tools and processes to execute transformation projects on time, on budget and to realise targets
  • Manages, develops and coaches team over multiple geographies
  • Supports team in removal of barriers to progress
  • Ensures management reports are created and communicated with project stakeholders
  • Produces leadership highlight reports on the progress, risks and commercial management of project portfolio
  • Researches and understands methods / platforms utilised by other functions to increase standardisation and re-use of best practice.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience, preferred in Programme Management
  • Prince2 Practitioner qualification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of initiation, change management, risk management, and the principles and practicalities of running projects
  • Experience of managing cross cultures
  • Proven ability to influence others, facilitate agreement among stakeholders with different interest Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of current and emerging market trends, geographic and cultural needs
  • Proven ability of success in delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Sponsors and enables process changes while building support for change across the entire business
  • Able to remove internal barriers and align process incentives
