If you’ve set your heart on a career in Corporate Communications, join Computacenter as a Communications Assistant in Hatfield or London and you’ll find there’s everything in place for you to realise your ambitions. We’ve become the leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services by being open, upfront and straightforward. So you’ll know exactly what’s expected of you, managers will be accessible when you need training and support, your voice will be heard and we’ll take a genuine interest in how you want to develop.
You’ll be part of a close-knit Communications team and you’ll enjoy an environment where people support and respect each other. Communicating with over 15,000 people worldwide needs flexibility and cultural awareness, connecting people and making the medium serve the message.
You will enable this team to be effective by providing accurate and creative support in two key areas:
- Helping manage the content and development of our SharePoint-based company intranet, the core platform for internal communications.
- Providing creative content to projects run by communications leaders, including PowerPoint, video and other multimedia content.
You will establish productive relationships and networks to build and maintain internal relationships; liaise with colleagues to ensure best practice and continual improvement in delivery of service to the business. Collaborate with and motivate virtual teams to ensure the delivery of successful campaigns to deadline. You will also need to be proactive in the adoption and promotion of company best practice.
