Asset and Configuration Manager

As part of your role, you will be responsible for service delivery into the Customer and Contractual Services team within costs, accountable for the creation, maintenance and sign off of the Service profiles including the Service plan document as well as the creation and maintenance of Service Sub processes and OSM’s.
You will identify, implement and publicise value add to accounts, looking to see if this can be incorporation into the standard service offerings, attend Service reviews and customer facing meetings as well as raise data queries, issues and work requests with the Team Leaders for assignment and completion.
The role of the ACM (Asset and Configuration Manager) is generally to deliver 4 outcomes –
- Govern the quality/accuracy of data in the CMDB
- Data reporting to client
- Identifier/Owner/Manager of issues/risks (dependent on where the issue lies)
- Act as the SME for the SACM service, for specific clients that you will manage.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in an ITIL Asset and Configuration Management capacity, as well as significant experience in an IT Service environment, with the ability to work in a complex environment with multiple customers.
Have you worked in an Asset and Configuration role previously, ideally for 3 years gaining a good experience and technical knowledge of the area?
You will have a keen eye for details, good presentation and communication skills, excellent planning and organisational skills and process engineering and development experience.
Knowledge of Remedy ITSM and ability to create service models
Strong customer facing communication skills in order to represent the service.
Location - Flexible - Hatfield, Milton Keynes, Nottingham - (Office and Non-Office working)
