IT Transformation Programme Director

The UK Services team are responsible for managing the in life contracted services to all our customers Globally. We engage directly with our customers to ensure Computacenter delivers on our contractual commitments, whilst ensuring our services are aligned to meet our customers’ business needs. Driving continual improvement and operational efficiency is a constant focus of the team and we do this by leveraging the best practice and capability within our shared services factory.

Role Responsibility

You will be part of a friendly UK Services Business Take-On team working with our prestigious Global customers, responsible for finding practical solutions to IT problems. This is a leadership role within the business where the successful individual will support attainment of customer strategic intent or vision, assist in the development of the ‘case for change’ - through identification of outcomes and definition of scope and drive technology as a key enabler of both organisational improvement and service transformation. We’re also looking for someone who is qualified with the relevant professional qualification and has experience of managing teams of non-technical and technical staff, as well as a good knowledge of relevant functional systems and experience in developing best practice policies and procedures for functional areas. You will be expected to adopt Computacenter’s best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of service and also act in accordance with CC’s Information’s Security Policies and report any potential or actual Security events or other security risks to the organisation. This person will support bid-management/account management to qualify opportunities and develop transformation solutions, develop and promote a shared vision/strategic aim(s), challenge existing practices and develop new ways of working, identification of business changes required to achieve or secure benefit from transformation vision. You will also provide a governance structure that ensures accountability and enables predictability of the outcome and ensure that each transformative initiative is underpinned by coherent design and implementation approaches.

To be suitable for this opportunity the successful candidate will have experience of:

  • Process excellence, project management, benefit management, facilitation, problem solving, accelerating transformation and value creation.
  • Effective escalation management needing leadership attention
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communications
  • Develops and maintains a network of effective relationships with key ISPs and partners
