The Global Infrastructure Operations Division forms the core for Infrastructure Support for most of the Contractual Services delivered to our customers from Event Management through to Data Centres. Over the last few years Computacenter has been successful in winning more and more complex Managed Service contracts. This has driven the need for us to review, change and continually augment our people, tools and processes in order to match the ever increasing complexity of demand.
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a 3rd Line Build Analyst to be based in Hatfield and to create and develop the highest quality customised software and server builds to a wide variety of new and existing customers. Consistency within this role is key and working towards designated timescales covering but not limited to New Build Creation, New Hardware models and Build Updates. This team continues to grow based on new business wins and our Senior Build team has been a stand out performer within our Hatfield head office.
This role is a vital component in Computacenter’s customer experience. Working from our impressive head office in Hatfield you will provide senior level assistance to the Build Coordinator to determine and document technical specifications for a given build, maintaining technical specification documentation and customer-specific technical process documentation. Being hands on from a technical perspective is obviously a large part of this and effective delegation of build work where appropriate to 2nd Line Analysts will be essential to a smooth running of the department. As a senior build analyst, you will be involved with non standard technical requests and high level customer interaction in addition to installation and configuration of Microsoft Operating Systems, validation testing and incident and problem management.

To really succeed in our 3rd Line Build Analyst role, we are looking for someone who already brings a good level of experience of installation and configuration of Windows platforms ideally Windows 10, SCCM 2007 and 2012, Operating System Registry Hives & MSI technologies and Microsoft deployment toolkit, while working to tight time frames.
However the right attitude and aptitude will really shine through, as will a good team ethic. Seeing projects through to completion will be what our customers will be looking for from the successful candidate due to there being a high level of involvement with customers including site visits and deployments.
